Svaki se trenutak može zabilježiti i pretvoriti u sjećanje koje traje. Izložbom „3, 2, 1… ptičica!“ – povijest u fotografskom kadru obilježavamo 200 godina od nastanka prve fotografije i odabranim snimkama otkrivamo život Pazina i Pazinštine u različitim povijesnim trenutcima.

Motivi su raznoliki: portreti pojedinaca i obitelji, školski i društveni događaji, pejzaži i arhitektura, prizori svakodnevice i promjene u prostoru. Svaka fotografija zaustavlja trenutak i prenosi emociju, atmosferu i duh vremena.

Posebno mjesto zauzimaju pazinski fotografi i atelijeri – Saša Šantel, Matko Gortan, Erna Carletti i Bruno Stefani koji su desetljećima oblikovali vizualni zapis grada i okolice.
Njihove fotografije oživljavaju prošlost i omogućuju sagledavanje života Pazinštine kroz objektiv generacija fotografa.

Uz izbor od 40 fotografija, najranijih datiranih od kraja 19. stoljeća, izložba predstavlja i fotografsku opremu, pribor i materijale koji svjedoče o tehnici, vještini i kreativnosti potrebnim za nastanak svakoga kadra. Dio fotografija moguće je oživjeti skeniranjem QR kodova, čime povijesni prizori dobivaju novu, interaktivnu dimenziju.

Every moment can be captured and transformed into a lasting memory. With the exhibition „3, 2, 1… Say Cheese!“ – History in the Photographic Frame, we mark 200 years since the creation of the first photograph, revealing through selected images the life of Pazin and the surrounding region across different historical moments.

The motifs are diverse: portraits of individuals and families, school and social events, landscapes and architecture, scenes of everyday life, and changes in the environment. Each photograph freezes a moment while conveying emotion, atmosphere, and the spirit of its time.

A special place is given to Pazin photographers and studios – Saša Šantel, Matko Gortan, Erna Carletti, and Bruno Stefani who, over decades, shaped the visual record of the town and its surroundings. Their photographs bring the past to life and offer insight into the lives of the Pazin region through the lenses of generations of photographers.

Alongside a selection of 40 photographs, earliest dated to the late 19th century, the exhibition also presents photographic equipment, tools, and materials that testify to the technique, skill, and creativity required to create each image. Some of the photographs can be brought to life by scanning QR codes, giving historical scenes a new interactive dimension.
