Petnaestomjesečni dječak Ermano Fattori stoji na stolcu, pogleda usmjerena prema kameri. Okruglo lice, svijetla, valovita kosa začešljana je u desnu stranu, smije se. Desnom rukom drži se za naslon drvenoga stolca s reljefno obrađenim naslonom. Odjeven je u pleteno odijelce, duge hlačice i vestu dugih rukava s košuljicom ispod te svijetle dječje cipelice.
Fotografija nazubljenih rubova otisnuta je na tanji karton s tiskanim rasporedom poštanske razglednice te rukopisnim zapisima nalivperom na reversu: Fattori Ermano mesi 15 i Gorizia Maggio 1956.

Fifteen-month-old Ermano Fattori stands on a chair, looking toward the camera. He has a round face and light, wavy hair combed to the right, and he is smiling. With his right hand, he holds onto the backrest of a wooden chair with a carved relief design. He is dressed in a knitted outfit – long trousers and a long-sleeved cardigan worn over a shirt – along with light-coloured children’s shoes.
The photograph has scalloped edges and is printed on thin card bearing the printed title of a postcard, with handwritten inscriptions in fountain pen on the reverse: Fattori Ermano mesi 15 and Gorizia Maggio 1956.
