Atelijerski portret mladoženje i mladenke, format kabinet. Atelijerska pozadina, oslikana arhitektonskim elementima i zavjesom, predstavlja tipičan dekor fotografskih studija s prijelaza iz 19. u 20. stoljeće. Mladenka Antica sjedi, u četvrt profilu nadesno, pogleda usmjerena u stranu, odjevena u dugu bijelu haljinu sa širim rukavima do iznad lakta.

Studio portrait of the bride and groom, cabinet format. The studio backdrop, painted with architectural elements and a curtain, represents a typical photographic studio decor from the turn of the 19th to 20th century. The bride, Antica, is seated, in three-quarter profile to the right, gaze directed sideways, wearing a long white dress with wide sleeves reaching above the elbows. In her hands, resting on her lap, she holds a bouquet of flowers. Her face is oval, hair arranged in a bun. The groom, Šime, a mature man with a receding hairline, stands in three-quarter profile to the right, gaze directed sideways, dressed in a black coat reaching above the knees. His right arm hangs along his body, while his left rests on the armchair on which the bride is seated.

The photograph is mounted on rectangular beige cardboard. On the recto, at the bottom, the photographer’s information is printed in gold ink: on the left Francesco Benque, centre initial B, right Trieste / Piazza della Borsa 11. On the verso, additional information about the photographer is printed in darker blue ink: centred, diagonally from the left centre to the right edge: Francesco Benque / sucessore a Sebastianutti & Benque; top left and bottom right are coats of arms. Beneath the lower coat of arms is the studio address, and along the lower edge, details on negative preservation. Below, a handwritten note in black ink reads: Volosko – Pazin – 11.1.1908 / Antica Šime.
