Žanr-motiv dviju djevojčica, kćeri Ruže i Saše Šantela, u interijeru sobe. Djevojčice sjede na klupama za malim stolom koji je zajedno s klupama učvršćen za drvenu podlogu pravokutnog oblika. Nasloni za leđa i ruke klupa te noge stola izrađeni su od drvenih šipki okruglog presjeka. Djevojčice su odjevene u haljine do koljena s dugim rukavima. Kose su im raspuštene, a u kosi djevojčice na lijevoj strani nalazi se mašnica. Dušica, djevojčica na lijevoj strani fotografije, pogled je usmjerila u stranu. Lijevu je ručicu položila na stol i pod glavicu, desna je u pokretu, uz tijelo. Djevojčica na desnoj strani, Voja, pogled je usmjerila prema kameri (glava je zbog pokreta zamagljena), a ruke položila na stol.

The girls are seated on benches at a small table, which, together with the benches, is fixed to a rectangular wooden base. The backrests and armrests of the benches, as well as the table legs, are made of round wooden rods. The girls are dressed in knee-length dresses with long sleeves. Their hair is loose, and the girl on the left side of the photograph wears a bow in her hair. Dušica, on the left, gazes sideways. Her left hand rests on the table and under her head, while the right hand is in motion alongside her body. The girl on the right, Voja, looks towards the camera (her head is blurred due to movement), and her hands rest on the table.
